Yeah, we're usually good for a few blizzards in June. Seriously, June, July and August are the only three months I've never seen snow here. But I have one older friend who swears it snowed one year on the Fourth of July. :faint2: | |

| There was snow flurries about 2-3 hours north of me on the weekend. We had a long weekend here to celebrate Victoria Day and so many cottagers were disappointed at the bad weather. The mass trek back home started earlier than normal and everyone shown on the newscasts were wearing coats and hats! Carol, send some this way toooooo!! | |

| I believe it, Rob. My Mom and Dad saw it snow in August here. Just one time - but, still. And I've seen flurries on Memorial Day. So, I believe it. | |

| Oh my gosh.... the weather is soooooo perfect!!!! It will be like that for the next 3 days. 78 degrees with a little wind.... I have my office door open and it just feels sooo great. I am enjoying it as much as I can because next week we climb to the mid 80s and then higher.... and higher... and higher... lol I probably won't see 70s weather until mid September | |

| That's extremely rare, though. By July it's usually up near 90 here. I don't care for it to be that hot. About 68-72 degrees is about my favorite. | |

| :Hahaha: Or have watergun fights. I usually go into the woods when it's too hot out for me. I'm pretty boring, so the animals don't mind my intrusion. This year, I may take a sketch pad and pencil with me. | |

| I've lived in a tropical area (El Salvador) where it's tropical weather year round! lol When I came to the states I lived in LA where it didn't snow but got cold and we had to have winter clothes now... before we only just had summer clothes... Then, I moved about 3 hours north into the central valley and I experienced fog and HOT summers. In LA, summers were not so hot as they are in the central valley because of the ocean nearby. Here in the valley it's warm during summer when temperatures tend to be in the 70's and average of 94 degrees but it feels hotter than that because we sometimes have several heat waves going to 110 the maximum. That happens around July or August. Last year I don't think we had 110 though... Coldest is around December/January where in the day it gets about 37 degrees and I don't want it any colder because I'm freezing at that point The snow... I love but I love it in the mountains... I admit, it must be neat to see snow falling out the window. A few years back we did have snow on the ground, it was neat but I was glad it melted after a week :Blizzard: I prefer it in the moutains and can see snow falling from the cabin up there | |
