We're under another winter storm watch. They say this one might dump another two feet of snow on us.
:faint2:
Oh my goodness!! Do me a favor and just keep it up there, ok Rob?
No, no, no, Amy!! Don't tell him that! I've been trying to convince him that he doesn't have to hog it all!
Rob, you didn't read what Amy said.

Rob that storm your going to be getting is still lingering here in Wisconsin and as of noon time today we got 5 inches of the white stuff. By the time it cruises over Lake Michigan later tonight it should pick up steam... Again I am thankful I live on this side of the lake. Stay safe my friend.

Thanks, Lorrie.
I remember my first time visiting the shore of Lake Michigan when I was about 5 or 6. I was very disappointed to find out that I couldn't see across it. I thought I'd be able to look over and see the people in Wisconsin on the other side. Maybe give them a little wave.

Rob, I live about 10 miles from Lake Michigan, I think I can almost see your wave!! Nope wait...it's only a seagull. Sorry.... :titanic:
Actually I live close to what is refered to as "The Bay of Lake Michigan". That's the portion of the Lake that branches off towards the Bay of Green Bay. Google Oconto Falls you will see me... Unfortunately when those rap around storms come through and the winds shift to the east, we get that lake effect snow too. I bet you can't wait until the lake freezes over huh?? That could be what February?? By then you will have 12 feet of snow... almost like Houghten up in the U.P.

I WANT SNOW! We had temp reaching up to 80 degrees yesterday but in the 50's today. This is the craziest weather we've had in the 8 years I've been in Texas. When its cold its cold, but if the winds come from the south....I have to bring out the shorts to wear! Might just need to come visit my prairie friends.

The other day it was about 18 degrees, and a guy down the street from me was out shoveling his driveway. He was wearing a parka, gloves, a stocking cap... and shorts. :faint2:

We're under a storm advisory, and are expecting around a foot in the next 36 hours. The roads were already pretty slippery when I was on my way home from getting together with a friend. I'm not sure how much snow we'll actually get, but the weather crew is talking like they're expecting a true blizzard.
