The Larry E. Bradford, Jr. Memorial

  It is with heavy heart, that I must tell our prairie family, that we lost a dear friend.   Many of you will remember Larry, who went by the username "Flatbroke."  He was a member of this forum since 2005 and a wonderful addtion.   I'm sorry to say that Larry passed away last evening.  He'd been in poor health for many years, and when he was stricken with a severe stomach infection, it was more than his body could handle.  

You were a sweet, kind, funny, gentle man, Larry. Even though you sometimes went a long time between posts, you never stopped being one of us. We will miss you more than we can say.

Please keep his family in your prayers.

Oh my goodness. I knew Larry was ill, but I didn't know he was that sick. This breaks my heart.

So long, ol' buddy. I'll miss your sense of humor, your midwestern common sense, and your heart, which was as big as all outdoors.

I was very saddened to hear the news of Larry's passing. He had such a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed here on the prairie. Rest in peace dear Larry. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I will miss you forever, Larry. Thanks for always knowing when to make me laugh, or when it was just best to listen and let me rant! There is no other like you.

I saw his profile. I like the smiley face, he left on his profile. The smiley doing a little dance, the white glove hands moving back & forth.

For those that did not know Larry....here is what he enjoyed doing the most on the prairie (aside from giving us all a hard time )....Many of the songs are no longer shown, but it was always so sweet to come here in the mornings and find a song left from Larry

Same here! I can't believe this is really hapenning, I had Larry aded to my Facebook friends too. This is too wful....I'll be praying for his soul and for his poor family who must be missing him so much!

*Larry and I also met on PT back in 2005. He signed up just few minutes before I did. Although he was only a few months younger than me but I always call him an old fart!
