| I posted it a few months ago. Someone taped it years ago. And it was in French. And the guy said that it has not be released anywhere in the world that scene. I will post it again for you. Kinda upset I wanted to know what they were saying it's about 8 to 10 seconds long. Feel depress now. | |

| lost images Lord is my Shepherd.mov ByEric CaronApr 29, 2010 1,334 views 1 likes, 0 dislikes This clip is a LOST clip from "The Lord is my Shepherd"... These images have been cut from every DVD edition (US, French, Dutch, English !)... I taped them years ago on French TV (dubbing made in Canada), and after that, those images were cut on EVERY rerun ! So I guess they could be considered as LOST... It is the end of the scene where Charles and Caroline go away with their baby son, to have him examined by a doctor in Mankato.

| And I'm sorry it's about 42 seconds long or so.
I remember if the old VHS tape that Columbia House had out back in the late 80s would have it? I remember reading in the WikiPedia saying that they were uncut back then. Before GoodTimes and TimeLife had them.

| It ends with the girls looking on with Grace then it just cuts to the doctors office. This scene continues showing Pa talking to the girls in French I'm sure he might be saying be good for Grace or something about they baby brother. And it says them driving off. Then it goes to the doctors office. | |

| I posted my review on Amazon I gave it 4 stars. I would have gave 5 stars if all episodes were uncut but I didn't. | |

| I wonder why that scene is missing. Maybe someone should ask Dean Butler in the Facebook chat if he knows. I don't know if I'm going to be up when he does the chat.
I plan on posting a detailed list of run times between the Blu-rays and the original DVDs, but it will probably take me a couple days. I already wrote down the DVD run times and they range from 44-48 minutes. According to Amazon Instant Video all the regular length episodes of the new release are 50 minutes except for six 49 minute episodes, and one 48 minute episode. That would put the average run time at about 49 minutes compared to an approximate average run time of 46 minutes for the original DVDs.
I was almost positive they had used the original film negatives for this since the reviews of the video quality are so good and the episodes are about three minutes longer on average. There's no way they used the syndication edits and got three more minutes out of each episode, so I can't figure out why a scene from The Lord is My Shepherd that aired in a rerun on French TV would be cut from this release.
I'm still more than happy that I bought it and I'm happy to announce that it arrived as I was typing this post.

| I did asked about the delated scene but there is so many people asking questions on Facebook to Dean Butler now. And I also asked about Little House Years in season 6. I saw another person aslked that question too. But I don't think he will answered them. I might write a letter to Lions Gate I don't know if it will be any good or not. But at least I voiced my opinion about it. | |

| Dean did send a comment about the Little House Years he said he doesn't remember it. At least he saw my question! And I wrote a email to Lions Gate tonight saying maybe they could do a missing scenes dvd later on like movies do or other TV shows. I was very nice in my email just told them I was disappointed that a scene was not in Lord is my Shepherd. And I said maybe if was beyond your control or NBC Studios who knows. I'm pretty sure all the other episodes are uncut in the first season. And I know there was no extra scenes in Pilot Movie.
I'm happy with the picture and sound. That was the only thing that upset me.
