The one that is on YouTube and it's in French it's about 42 seconds long.
The video was release in 1987. Before GoodTimes and Time Life Video.

Yes correct. I checked my GoodTimes DVD not there. So I will see if it's on the video that I get. If not I guess this might be the lost scene that will never be seen again.

I'll tell you what. If the extended scenes of Albert in Home Again, Fagin and Family Tree aren't there when it comes time, I'm gonna be one disappointed puppy! They were in the French versions too.

I have Fagin on VHS there was a station I got on Satellite years ago from Los Angeles KTLA that's how I found out about the different scenes if that didn't happen I would of thought it was the full version. But when you saw that scene that took out a different scene that TBS had that was the only thing. I still have them on video I don't want to gave them up!! I never seen the Home Again scene that your talking about. But I did see The Family Tree scene when Albert says goodbye to Laura in the loft.
P.S. I did watch the Pilot Movie and I know this movie we'll see it so many times I know the lines lol! And there is no extra scenes at all. I have bought several different versions over the years between Videos and DVDs.

The Home Again scene is after Albert has stolen morphine out of Doc Bakers bag at Lauras house. He has a conversation with Charles before going to sleep. They cut the scene in imavision down to about a minute, when actually its about 3 minutes long.

I have the VHS of the Pilot and it says 100 minutes. I would imagine the DVD would be the same, unless they cut something out.
I have read that some episodes on VHS actually contain more scenes that the DVDs, but it would be really disappointing if the pilot on Blu-ray has a shorter running time than the VHS.
Don't get me wrong, overall I'm very happy with this release and will probably give it 5 stars on Amazon unless someone finds the new release missing scenes that they are sure were broadcast on NBC. The picture quality is great. You can actually see what color people's eyes are, the creek is much easier to see, etc.

I just ordered season one. I'm excited to get it, it was one of my favorite seasons and always makes me smile when I see them so young. I had written a post last year about how faded the shows seemed on TV now and didn't know if it was my old television or their tape. (Walton's for instance was better) This will be like a breath of fresh air since I never got the DVD's, just have VHS. I hate when scenes get cut but I hope to see more added than deleted.

I saw A Harvest of Frienda. I didn't see any extra scenes at all. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the Imavison release 10 years ago. I wonder if it was dubbed a little faster on the Imavison. Not sure for time compassion. And i think these episodes will be the same from Imavison Country Girls, 100 Mile Walk and Mr. Edwards Homecoming. I know that If I Should Wake Before I Die and Town Party Country Party will have the extra scenes. I have to watch The Love of Johnny Johnson again.
So that's my thought about it. I could be wrong. I will let you know as I watch the other episodes.
