Years ago, I (under the guise of Barney Fife) decided that crime was rampant here on the board, so I started handing out tickets for spelling errors. All in good fun, of course. I've pretty much hung up my guns, though...

Well, if you spell a word wrong, you will get what is commonly known as "Fifed"......If you look at "Rob and Dave" Razzing thread you will see what I am talking about. Rob has been a beloved figure on this board for years. He is known as "The Fifeinator".
He's a great guy, but does not tolerate bad spelling...........

This came from the "Little Bit of Humor Thread" in the Gossip thread. I still can't spell heifer, or is it heffer? Rob and I produced the Humor Thread, some day when you have six hours to waist, you should read it.......

speaking of this.... Rob I remember a couple years ago someone posted a picture of a box of crackers that looked just like a box of saltines, but instead the box said "Grammer Crackers. These is good." I can't remember who posted it though.

I'm sure Dave did this just to show you an example of the kind of spelling error Fife would have jumped on in the old days.

You should have seen the Vikings playing in Baltimore. Talk about snow! We should have won that game, but it's actually better that we lost because the Vikings need that first pick in the draft. We need a quarterback!! There were 4 or 5 touchdowns scored in the last 2 minutes. Crazy but fun game to watch!

Dave, you like the Cowboys? Really? I hope the Lions won Rob! Anyways, do any of you watch collage footballs? GO DAWGS. I suppose Rob would like Michigan or Michigan State. I don't like Auburn or South Carolina at all.

Nope, the Eagles beat the Lions by 14 points.
I don't really follow college football, though I'll definitely be rooting for Michigan State in the Rose Bowl.

You'd better be!! I LOVE college football...would much rather watch that than the pros. Although it was FUN to watch the Lions 'try' to play in all that crazy snow the other day!
Can someone PLEASE buy me tickets to the Rose bowl for Christmas???? Pretty please????
