Just in time for "my" baby's birthday. My youngest nephew, Caleb, turns 10 tomorrow....When he was a baby, he was our "footy" boy...He would put his foot up to his ear and "talk" to Uncle Aaron on the footy-phone. (Interestingly, every one of the four kids said, "Aaron" as their first word! I was totally jealous. But I got to be called "Annie" {they couldn't quite say "Auntie" yet - and around here "aunt" is pronounced "ant", so "Annie" I was} and "Weesa", so I was happy. ) So, inspired by my little fella's footy-phone, here are some little baby feet:

That is SOOOOooooooo beautiful, Lisa!! It's quite different from anything else you've done I think. Remarkable.


And interesting, about the kids' first word being Aaron!! All my daycare kids over the years have called me "Mimi", all on their own, because "A's" are hard for little ones to say at first. "M's" are easy. Around here, I'm known as "Mimi" by my 'kids' and by my hubby.

Thank you so much, Amy! Yes, it's really different from any other drawing I've done - I was telling Rob that it was unusual to be drawing something that held life, but didn't have/show a face or eyes!
