| So Jacob, what did you think of Kristy Lee? She just sang and I'm with Paula---I was blown away!! What's up with Randy & Simon? I thought that was really great---I just can't believe how far she's come...she connected emotionally again and really sang her heart out! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I thought Kristy did really well tonight, lately she has been stepping it up. I was so happy that Jason did well, I hope he goes alot farther, I'm with Paula, if that sounded like Lua I would want to be there! Carly and Syesha seemed normal and nothing really special. I thought what David Cook did to the song actually turned out really nice. I may be the odd one out but I don't get David Archuleta, I mean, he seems nice and all but his voice seems the same each week, almost lke he sings the same song. I don't wanna sound mean but his voice is kinda...boring. It also annoys me how people say that he's gonna win it all. I mean, how can they know that. | |

| Best of the girls: Kristy Lee Worst: Brooke - oh man.... towards the end it sounded like she was nervous and sped the song, the notes dissapeared and it felt like just noise.... it was not good... I agreed with Simon, the boys stole the show. David A, David C & Jason were all great! I think the bottom 3 will be Carley, Brooke & Sayesha | |

LOL---I'm with you!! It wasn't his best but still he was good. It was so funny when Simon said he had to agree with...Paula!! LOL, she gasped, the audience gasped, and so did I! We all thought he was going to say Randy!! :haha: Carol, totally agreeing with you about Brooke. The beginning was great, but she definitely lost control about 3/4 of the way through, with the speeding up and then the loss of breath. She could be in trouble. I actually hope Carly goes tonight. This is where I totally disagree with Randy...I love Carly's low notes very much---it's her high ones that I can't stand. They always seemed forced and like she's trying too hard. Simon's right---she seems uptight and I just find it hard to actually enjoy her performances. Syesha continues to do well---I enjoy her more than I do Carly, she seems a bit more 'effortless' to me in her singing. But still, just not a big fan of her voice. This is going to sound crazy I know, but I didn't think David C. was that great last night. I liked the song better in the end than I did in the beginning---I actually thought he sounded like he had a cold in the beginning, like he had to clear his throat, and I felt this paled in comparison to Billie Jean and Hello. I'm sure it's just me though---everyone seems to love it! Don't get me wrong though, I love the guy! I liked David A. last night, but I didn't love it. That is not the style of music I like to hear from him. About 'sounding the same every week', well I kind of feel that way about everybody! :haha: Actually, this was a real change for him this week...obviously the judges seem to like the change, just not me! I view singing really very differently than a lot of people do---I don't need the 'power' songs, necessarily, I just love a quality voice, that's 'definitive' to quote Paula. The ones I find that the most with are Jason, Brooke and David A. I don't hear anyone on the radio that sounds like any of these people...that's what I love. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Definetely agree about Carley's high notes... they do sound forced to me... her voice changes.... but not with Sayesha, her voice seems to sail right on through when she sings those power high notes...
Even though Brooke could be in trouble... I think Carley will be the one going home tonight... | |

I forgot to mention that I thought Carly looked fantastic last night! Gee, maybe it's because her tatoo/arms were covered! LOL! She's always in some kind of a sleeveless shirt! I can't believe they didn't compliment her on her looks.... And yeah, Jason might be in the bottom 3, I'm preparing myself for that. That song was pretty mellow and since he did Somewhere Over the Rainbow last week, he probably should have picked sth quite different. The good thing is, he was last. I'm actually a little worried about David A. tonight---I know he has his fans, but I'm sure Michael Johns did too---it's never good to sing first! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Aw, Jacob...I know you're sad!! I know how I'd feel if Jason went! But take comfort in the fact that Kristy will get a contract---if Pickler can do it, she cerainly can! I thought it was so cute how protective Brooke was over her! That cracked me up when Simon said "I think you've run your course, Kristy" (or SLT) and Brooke looked him square in the eye and scolded at him, "HEY!" :haha: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Okay, I just had to let you know what I thought. My husband and I just watched last night's performances. Last night we were watching the finale of The Biggest Loser. We're about to watch the results show, which we'll fast forward to the end. Amy, I know that you didn't love David Cook's performance, but I had to watch it twice. I ABSOLUTELY loved it!!!!! He is by far the most original talent on the show this season. My favorite of his was when he did "Hello," but I love what he did with the Mariah song. He's amazing!!!!!!!!!! Jacob, I know that you're not his biggest fan, because you love country music, and I'm not a big "rocker," but David just blows me away. There's just something about him. He's going to have an amazing career, no matter what the outcome. Okay, I'll stop gushing..........but MAN is he "the bomb." As Randy would say. LOL!!!! | |

| LOL, Jacob!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, come on, don't you think that his originality is kind of neat? Even if you're not into rock music, don't you think that he has talent? Your comment about blowing you the other way cracked me up!!!!!!!! | |

| Everyone except................Jacob. LOL!!!! I was sad to see Kristy go, but at least she'll get to go on the tour. She's such a beautiful girl with such a wonderful personality, and very humble too. I think that Sayesha and Carly are next to go..........maybe even in that order. You never know though. We could be surprised with someone else going a little sooner than we thought, just like with Michael Johns. | |

I forgot to comment on the last part of this statement about 'people saying he's going to win it all'. I think part of the reason for that is because he probably would 'make' the best Idol. Someone on my other board just made the point that several other prospective winners really need more creative freedom than what the title of American Idol allows. It's like last year with Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks standing up there...Blake was my favorite but I was so rooting for Jordin to win. If David C. and David A. are the two standing up there (and that's my prediction...lol, haven't been too accurate with that lately! :haha: ), then I will be rooting for David A. because no way do we want to see David C.'s natural creative abliity snuffed out. It's just like with Chris Daughtry. But it's not just David Cook...I feel that way about Jason, definitely, and Brooke too...maybe even Carly. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| It was not Krysti's night to go.... I think her vocals are better than Brooke's. But oh well.... actually all people who are leaving now will do good. I'm sure Kristy will get a contract and will be okay I LOVED the way she sang her last song.... looking at Simon right in the eyes and sarcastically saying that about his comments *I have some info on Michael Johns from watching "Idol Tonight". Michael got to attend the Saturday Night Live show and met Ashton Kutcher.... then he was invited to the after party and sang kareoke w/ some people. He also said Dolly went up to him and told him it was not right that he had gone so soon and that she really meant it when she told him she would like to work with him.... so it looks like Michael will be alright! | |
