Carol, I was playing back my recording of that and had to watch that part like THREE times because of how cute David A. was there!! Yep---he certainly wasn't trying but my gosh! He is just a DOLL!! I was telling Teresa I want to adopt him! For those of you that don't want to watch the whole thing, it's at 1:53 (his facial expression is so much better on the big screen though! ). Just watched his Regis & Kelly interview on Youtube too, and he was as adorable as ever on that too. I know he's kind of goofy, but I think that's what makes him SO endearing! And I really love his "Angels" song...that was a good choice for the show I think. Man he's good, even in the morning!

Ok, so wait a minute. I finished watching at 9:00, because Regis & Kelly came on. But are you watching another channel? Does this switch over somewhere? I just figured it comes back on at 10:00 after Regis & Kelly? Help!! I don't want to miss it!!

Well, I think we were all stumped on this, but guess what?! Last night I sat and watched some of the beginning episodes of AI...it was fun to go back and see what they sang. Remember the one where they showed baby/kid pictures of the contestants and gave some background on each of their childhoods? Chikezie's parents are both from Nigeria! I'd forgotten that!! So that's where Michael John's was coming from---it actually makes sense now! He has to remember that not everyone knows or remembers stuff about the contestants---a lot of his comments could be miscontrued.

Oh........that makes a little more sense now, Amy. The night of that Larry King interview I kept thinking, did Michael Johns take a "rude" or "obnoxious" pill before the show? It seemed a little out of character when he made that Nigeria comment. He was still a little over the top though, but at least you cleared up my confusion of why he would say that to Chikezie.
Is anyone planning on seeing the idols on tour? They don't come to Minneapolis until August 31st. I'm not sure if I want to go. Tickets are sparce at this point. Now if David Cook was performing alone................that's another story. LOL!! I'd love to see him in concert someday.

I don't know---I'd REALLY like to, but the CHEAP tickets in Gand Rapids are $80!! They go all the way up to $550!!! I can see "Wicked" for $35, here in my city, and I'm dying to see that too, with my mom and 13 yrd old, so that would be better money spent I think. It's times like these I wish money wasn't so tight!! :sad5:

David Cook will be performing on Jay Leno on June 12th. That's nice that they invited him back to actually sing this time. When he was on a couple of weeks ago, it was just for an interview.

A couple more TV appearances:
June 10th - David Cook will be singing the National Anthem before the game at the NBA finals, game 3.

June 24th - David Cook and David Archuleta will be performing on The View.
