| I loved Kara's comment to Adam. "I have six words for you: one of the best performances of the night." I have two words for Kara: That's not six words. | |

| My son watched it with me and was like "Um, Kara?!" LOL---no one even said anything! :haha: I loved Adam too, Teresa---that was great that he did something different and changed his look for the week....I think he needed to do that. I wouldn't want him to stay that way, but he took some criticism last week for not really 'embracing' country week. My son said that he thought the song was kind of annoying---I can kind of see why he said that---the entire song stayed quite high, and Adam has a 'different' higher voice. I like it, but I guess I can see why that sounded a little annoying to stay 'up there' so long. Man that guy has control though---he's just amazing, and as the judges said, in a league of his own. My favorite of the night was Matt---I voted for him a zillion times because I was so worried people would forget about him, since he went first!!! He just gets better and better I think and I love the feeling he sings with. The boy's got soul! Neat that your local news did a segment on him Savannah! It would be so cool if he could make it to the final 3, since they do segments in the contestants' hometowns. I'd have to go!!!! And I'd have to drag Brendan along with me, since he lives there...Idol fan or not! I'm really hoping it's Megan tonight---she was awful and I've decided I just can't stand her voice or her 'cutesy' moves. She gets more annoying for me each week, and IMHO, it never seems like any of her performances feel 'effortless'. I'm kind of 'on edge' watching her each week. If it's not her, Michael or Scott could go next---I'm not crazy about seeing any of the 3 of them sing again. I think everyone else did a pretty good job last night, especially Kris and Allison. Someone did "Papa was a rolling Stone" last year too (can't remember his name but he was the Italian looking guy who was openly gay)...I liked his version of the song so much better, the way he told a 'story' with it. But Allison's version rocked out more, which was fine because it was 'her'---she was amazing and I just can't believe she can do that at age 16!!! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Nope---not Danny, I can see why you thought that though. He didn't last as long as Danny----I'll try to find out who he was; I have a bunch of those old Idols saved on my DVR! I just can't bear to get rid of some of them, LOL! Ok, I found him...it's David Hernandez: His performance of "Papa was a Rollin' Stone" was one of my favorite Idol performances last year! Oh, here it is! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NQip-kEGsc“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Yeah, it came out during last season...it was contraversial because it had been discovered that he was a male stripper at a gay club. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| What? David Hernandez... I didn't know he was gay  Okay, here is my review of last night: Adam was great! Loved it. Liked his 'clean' look and his version of the song. I have EIGHTwords for him! "One of the best performances of the night!" Allison did awesome! I remember David's performance of this one. I hope people vote for her because I can't believe she was in the bottom 3 last time! It was during this time that Paula had that mustache that Simon had drawn on her... LOL Loved it!!! He really stayed true to the melody of the song and it was just great... awesome vocals Anoop! Meh... it was alright. I don't know but when he first sang Hero and Paula went all crazy over him, it was really an over hype of this guy. I don't think he's that great... as each week goes by, I see Matt, Anoop, Adam & Kris do better than him. I would have preferred that he would have done a slower song... there are soo many good ones to choose from! I know that he wanted to get the crowd moving and all... but his dance moves are not one of the best lol Kris did great! Another good performance from him. I don't know what Randy & Kara were talking about, I thought Lil's performance was great! Loved it! She and Allison are the strong females now... but I do admit the boys are dominating this competition. Another great performance from Matt! I loved that he started at the piano and then got up... very very good vocals! Awesome! *And now... for my bottom 3* This song did not go well AT ALL with her type of voice. "My Guy" would have been a little better like Kara said... but this was just no good! Oh Scott... even though it was an upbeat song... it was still boring to me. "Sorry!" (like Simons says... lol) Man this guy gets on my last nerves. He kind of reminds me like a school bully lol... but I know he's not. Anyway, I thought I was at a wedding at a cruise ship... haha... did not like it. It bugs me that he always replies back to the judges with "Well I had fun and the fans will like it blah blah blah" So tonight we will see.... If those 3 are in the bottom 3, I doubt the judges will use a 'save'. | |

| I think we agree on everyone Carol! About Danny, I know what you're saying. I really like his personality---I think he's a good performer (LOL---the dance moves aren't great, but he's 'real' and I like that). BUT, it doesn't seem like he's capable of really 'changing it up'. I'm not sure what it is I'm expecting to see from him, but it always seems like the 'same old same old.' And he's good, I enjoy him, but I'm not 'blown away' ever. He needs to stir things up. Vote for the worst has chosen Megan, so she may be safe for now. I do think she has more talent vocally than Michael, I just think she lacks control. Did anyone else find her statement to Ryan somewhat conceited? She said "My fans are still there." Um, isn't that a bit presumptuous considering she just sang so badly?! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Well, that was scary. Obviously 'vote for the worst' went to town tonight. I'm in shock though that Scott had more votes than Matt. Not that I 'dislike' Scott, but I do feel that he is pretty boring these days. What is up with this ridiculous drama regarding the save???? OMG, do they think we are THAT stupid that we would believe they were actually considering keeping Michael in the competition?! Come on now. All I have to say is, thank goodness Matt is SAFE!!! :faint2: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Yep, Michael went home. And he really seemed 'ok' with it Jacob...he was blowing kisses at the end of the song, saying his goodbye. He'd obviously accepted that he was leaving, but they seemed to want to drag out the 'drama'. Ugh. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I think Michael may get a country deal out of this....he should at least head to Nashville! Hey, Bucky Covington got voted out very early and he got one, and I think Michael is just as good, if not better, and is a good performer too. I'm thinking Michael maybe should have done a Motown ballad, like Anoop did, rather than what he chose. We'd already seen him do that kind of song he did the other night several times before... “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

Yes... what in the world is going on?! As for this "Save" stuff... it's a very dumb thing... I don't know why they did this rule... a lot of the former contestants don't like it either... Michael Johns being one of them lol... and he was one of the ones they supposedly made the rule for! LOL :haha: They just want to add drama! | |

| I thought that Matt's song was way better than the judges gave him credit for. At least it was a CURRENT hit! I thought he sounded pretty good. I'm sorry, but I had to literally fast forward through Megan's song. I cannot stand her voice anymore. It's just weird! The bottom 3 should definitely consist of Megan and Anoop. I didn't care for Anoop at all tonight. I'm not sure who the 3rd would be. It better not be Matt! I can't get over how ANNOYING Megan's voice is!!!! | |

| I got annoyed when Megan talked about "my fans." It bugs me when actual stars say dat, so when a lower-echelon contestant on a talent show says it... | |
