Yeah Megan is no good... all the songs she sings sound exactly like one same super long song LOL because of her tone of voice and quite bizzare moves....
singing is not this girl's thing...

Oh, I know Rob...she did the same thing last week. Pretty conceited if ewe ask me.
I voted four Matt a bunch of times, but not because he was my favorite. I just fear four him tonight! I don't like the 'gravel' he gets in his voice---I agreed with Paula (doesn't happen often! ) dat he went write back to dat Coldplay song he did a ways back dat he bombed on. This wasn't nearly as bad, and I kind of liked it, but it's not g.o.i.n.g. to appeal to the masses I don't think. After being in the bottom TWO last week, I don't think dat was wise to do such a current song---current is fine, but this one was two current, I think---I haven't heard it and I wouldn't consider myself dat out of touch. David Cook could 'afford' to go more current last year, because he was well loved by the time he did dat. I just don't think dat 'rock' is Matt's 'thing'---he wants it to be his thing, but like Randy said to someone else, just because ewe love a certain style or song doesn't mean ewe can sing it. He should have done a Justin Timberlake song or even Michael Buble, considering that's who he's being compared to. He doesn't want to be stereotyped as dat, but hay---if that's tahw the public is g.o.i.n.g. to go four, and tahw he sounds better at, then ewe go four it! Makes sense to me anyway! So yeah, I'm frustrated with my Matt.
I wood have voted four Kris---my gosh, he gets the "most-improved" award four sure! Every week he gets better and better---I think he has great control and I find myself really enjoying watching him as well as listening! I feel the same way about Adam---he's a great 'entertainer' and I look forward to him and Kris more than anyone else each week. But I wood buy Kris's album---not sure I could deal with all the screaching on Adam's. Kris reminded me of David Cook last night, in his originality and artistry. I wood never have thought in the beginning dat he could go all the way in this, but I have to think he really has a shot!
Scott had a great song choice, but I still don't care four his voice. Lower register is ok, but I really hate it when he goes up. I was out of the room when Megan sang, and I guess that's a good thing. I came in at the end of it to hear all the judges coming down on her. I just hate it when the singers say "I love dat song and I had fun!" Ugh. dat is not tahw this is about!! Can I just pan her already?!?!
(Rob, just saw your gangsta post...I always had a feeling dat was the true ewe! hay, didn't ewe say ewe like rap? Um, baby? )

Well, your vocabulary is definitely much more hip than mine.
It does seem like he'd pick something a little more recognizable.

Oh thank goodness!!! It was definitely her time to go!
I can't believe Allison was in the bottom 3! Man, that girl has talent! I know that wasn't her best, but it was still really really good I thought! Maybe I'm biased because I love No Doubt and I think Allison did the song justice...I think her clothing got way too much attention last night from the judges. Anoop---well, I'm not surprised---he went first and it wasn't great, so it makes sense. But I like him SO much better than Scott, so I hope that he starts bringing it! SOooooo happy that Matt is safe!!
Wow, what a tight-nit group! They all seem like really neat people and they obviously care about each other so much. It must be quite the experience living together like that, and then losing one of the group that you've become so close to.
(Thanks Teresa the fifeable word correction!! )

Megan really got on my nerves tonight. What was up with the squawking? LOL!! They must have decided, as a group, to do that if they ended up in the bottom 3. Or maybe it was just Allison and Megan that came up with that. It was stupid! I'm glad that Simon gave Megan the attitude at the end, and told her not to bother singing for them again. She really had an "attitude" of her own tonight.

ARGH, I know what you mean Teresa! That squawking pterydactal thing was so dorky! I think that Megan has a lot of growing up to day---if anyone was acting 16 last night, it was her. Usually I think Simon is out of line with his 'send-offs', but in her case, I was all for his attitude back at her.
I thought it was pretty funny when they did the impersonations last night. I think Danny has quite the personality.
I must say, these 'lip-synched' group songs are totally getting on my nerves. Listen, you're either good enough to sing a group song, or you're not. These are not professional 'lip synchers' (ahem, obviously) and it's ridiculous that they're being forced to do so. Just let them sing the darn song---it doesn't have to be perfect!!

LOL That was weird... I think she has something for birds though. When she sang 'Rocking Robin' she said Kawh! Kawh! at the end of her song

Oh yeah... it didn't sound good when Megan said she didn't care... so when Simon threw that back in her face... ouch... but what goes around comes around lol

Check out this song by Tatiana Del Toro. I wish she would have gone through instead of Megan... since her voice was 10 times better than Megan's...
It's too bad she decided to sing the same song in Wild Card night... although I wonder if she hadn't.. would the judges still have put her through? I mean, they praised Felicia Barton and they didn't bring her back!! Don't know what these judges were thinking...

I totally think Felicia should have made it over Megan. BUT, that said, in the beginning, Megan seemed to have more 'control' or something...like Simon said, everything they liked about her in the beginning seemed to fade away over the weeks. I can see why they liked Megan originally---she is 'different' and you need original contestants. I think Megan just started to take her voice (and her moves) to a new extreme and it got pretty old pretty quick.

Tonight my favorites were Matt, Allison and Adam! Wow, has Simon ever given anyone a standing O?!?! Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen that except for when they've had guest stars on. Adam sure is proving himself....he has so much control it's unreal---even professional singers come on there and don't sound that good 'live'. Kudos to him! I LOVED Matt tonight---thank goodness he's redeeming himself!! And Allison had an excellent song choice I thought; she really is quite the singer. Danny was good too, but I didn't think he was that good. For some reason he's falling flat with me and I can't really figure out why.
I agreed with the judges about Kris (he's become a fave but that song really was boring...it stayed totally stagnant throughout)...and Lil---she says the same thing every week that she's going to change it up, but she doesn't. I don't feel like she's listening to the judges either---I think they do know what they're talking about with her. Scott---well, I don't think he was that bad, but he can go anytime now. There is no way he's becoming the next idol, so let's just move on, ya know? I think Kris will be safe because he has enough fans now (the likeablity factor)....I think Lil, Scott and possibly Anoop could be in the bottom 3---not because Anoop was bad, but it could be a bit forgetable, and I'm thinking Kris has the bigger fan base here. I guess we'll see!
The judges seriously need to STOP spending so much time with the early contestants. I think it's really unfair to the singers who sing later. Ryan used to stand up there and really hurry the judges along---that's not happening this season. And now they have one extra judge so you'd think they'd get a clue!!
